Once again Złote Tarasy joins the "Poland in Blue" campaign
As every year on April 2, World Autism Awareness Day, Złote Tarasy will join the "Poland in Blue" campaign. The characteristic glass dome of the Warsaw shopping centre, just like other buildings in the centre of Warsaw, will be illuminated in blue, which is the leitmotif of the campaign and a symbol of solidarity and a symbol of solidarity with the sick.
"Poland in Blue" is the biggest initiative in the country, aimed at making as many people as possible aware of what autism is. By speaking out about autism, we increase awareness, as well as tolerance among the society. The action is a part of a global campaign "Autism Speaks", which for a dozen or so years has been starting World Autism Month by lighting up buildings in blue. Organizations helping people affected by this ailment encourage them to join the action on April, 2nd also by dressing up in blue.
There are many theories connected with the choice of the blue colour. The closest to the truth seems to be the statement that it is a relaxing color, calming and universally liked. Just on blue colour, as their favourite, indicated wards of Autism Speaks Foundation. Since the beginning, in the action of illuminating many world-famous buildings take part, including the White House, New York's Emipre State Building, Burji Khalifa in Dubai or Sydney Opera House.
