As every year, Złote Tarasy shopping center will take part in the Earth Hour global action, initiated by the WWF Foundation in 2007. The aim of the project is to support environmental protection.

As part of the Earth Hour action, on March 26th at 8:30 p.m. Golden Terraces will symbolically switch off the lighting of the facade and the glass dome for 60 minutes. This is the fifteenth edition of the WWF initiative in Poland, whose participants express their support for environmental protection. This year's edition will be held under the slogan "Together for the Planet", the main goal of which will be to symbolically express concern for the Earth, the biodiversity of the land, as well as the seas and oceans.

The WWF Earth Hour is the biggest ecological initiative in the world. Every year hundreds of millions of people from over 7000 cities and towns in 170 countries around the worldtake part in it. During the action, the world's most famous buildings such as the Pyramids of Giza, the Eiffel Tower and Big Ben in London are plunged into darkness.
